does anyone know if there is a way to control the audio volume of a layer independently of the layers visibility? i need to play several audio-video clips simultaneously and control each layers volume independently from one another.

Take out your sound card and try onboard sound. Ive had soundcards do so really weird things to me in the past.

Also, XP or Vista? 32 or 64bit?

Not the case. I save after every level. As youll see if you re-read my original message, I do say that newer saves are not overwriting the old save game.

The RC01 sound files fixed this issue. Leaving it at that, as there are several other issues that the sound engine has, hehheh. Bill
