hi if you long press the power button, it should eventually go to the android start menu where you can choose to reboot or wipe cache or factory reset etc. maybe that will let you factory reset it and it will work again, fingers crossed. good luck

put in a relay to power the camera with a more stable power supply and that may work it did for me.

I put in a relay direct to the rear of the car to the camera and problem fixed.

Does anyone know if these earlier models had a capacitor for the reverse camera or similar power supply issues?
Mine sometimes starts if i wait for a while but not always. Once the car is in reverse it flicks over to the camera screen but then hesitates for a long time.

Okay the next issue is the reverse camera, like I said in another post, now it is taking forever to come on, nothing has changed with the wiring. It is a S07 kitkat universal double din model. The camera will usually start but may take 30 seconds to do so. The screen sometimes has ! symbol in yellow...

have you looked in your settings to see if the camera can or has been switched off?
Mine does weird shit sometimes and forgets steering wheel settings.

yes its the same version, the reception is never great though, is there an update to the app. kitkat S07

dont bother with this go to google and search for the headunit reloaded emulator pay your $5 approx and use it with android auto on phone.

Well it works for me, I now have Android Auto installed on my old kitkat unit, using my samsung s10e with a usb cable and may still work with wireless direct.
But happy with usb as it disconnects when you unplug.
well worth the small dollars involved.

Has anyone used this Headunit Reloaded Emulator for using Android auto on their head units?
