sorry for the late reply because of the mid autumn festival holiday .
In fact, the voice option doesn't help in any sound gain . I asked our engineer and he told me that this is because that the factory software technician forgot to delete this option .
About the amplifier gain , do you mean the amp volume ? The amp volume control the voltage of the out put from speakers (Signal attenuation) . We tested one disc which contain a song professional for testing . When you set the amp volume as 0 db , and the voltage of of the out put from speakers is near 10.8V . When you set the amp volume as -15 db,and the voltage of of the out put from speakers is near 4.3V .
