Android Auto USB Dongle

I recently bought the Android Auto USB Dongle, everything seems to work fine, but it seems like Google Maps has problems with the automatic switch of day and night setting.

My Android head unit adjusts brightness by headlights, which works fine. But Google Maps doesn't switch. Even if I put android auto on my phone into developer mode and set it to automatic or controlled by smartphone it doesn't work.

It also seems to reset some settings. If I put maps on the head unit into night mode, it resets if I restart my car and plug my phone back in.

Thanks for your message but I'm afraid there is no such setting in my App. This setting is missing.

I did update the app by myself but I still don't have the option to change it to automatic.

Even if I set it to night mode (either in the android auto head unit settings or smartphone settings) it will start in day mode the next time

Will try out another dongle because of this problem
