How to reboot the 13-RQ0278E?

I have a 13-RQ0278E-UK and pressing the Power button shows 'Shutting down" for about 3 seconds before the device goes black.

However, pressing the Power button again makes the screen appear instantly

This means it's not truly shutting down.

Pressing and holding the Power button does nothing.

I can't install a 'Reboot' app because the 13-RQ0278E can't be rooted.

Any ideas?

Hi,
the unit RQ0278 has a quick boot function.Hope you know.

When you are in the app drawer and swipe from top to bottom, there is a rocket icon in the context menu. When you hit this, the unit does a full reboot.

If you hold power button for 10 seconds or so the Home key should flash.

When you next press power on it does a full reboot.

Not sure if thats any help for you
