Hi, first let me just say i’m really pleased about my HU. But i have some issues that i need to adress and also i need solutions.

1. I need a new upgrade or downgrade to lollipop. Because of Lollipop i can’t use online maps like google maps. I’ve done aome research and i’ve found out that Lollipop has issues with the GPS localization. I need to fix this ( and please do not advice me to use an offline map like IGo) but u can still provide the link to it.

2. I’ve bought the head unit for my Vectra C 2008. Tried to connect the SWC wires to set up my steering wheel controls and it seams it does not work at all. Whenever i use my left hand steering wheel controls, i command also the main display of my car. I need a fix to this one as well.

3. Tried to connect my Iphone to a USB port and it does not work. It’s maybe because iphone is runing IOS but usually when i did connect my iphone to an aftermarket unit at least i could charge my phone trhough an usb port even though the unit could not recognize it.

Hi,
for your first point,there is no effective way to solve GPS problem.If you want IGo map,you can contact the customer service where you bought the unit.
For the steer wheel control,please first tell me your order number in amazon or buyer id in ebay,Pumpkin or AliExpress so that we can confirm more information about your unit and provide you positive solutions.I want to know when you buy the unit and when did the problem happen?
The USB port doesn't support charging you phone or other device.Hope your kind understanding.

So with this unit i can’t use inline maps like google, waze?..

The problem with the steering wheel controls is that i can’t make the unit learn new controls. The steering wheels controls work but they command the unit and the CID of my car.

Hi,
Regarding the problem of the steering wheel control,you can set the key mode option in the factory setting (password: 3368).You can refer to the following picture.

Regarding the problem of the GPS location ,you can do as the following steps:
S1,place the GPS antenna outside the car.
S2, if S1 doesn't help, flash the following firmware.

Hi, i have a question. Well a few actually...

1. My unit forgets the radio frequency stored...is there any solution to fix this?

2. If i want to install an FM GPS GSM antenna to replace all the antennas on the back of the unit, will that be possible? Will it work? The antenna i want to buy and install is similar to the one in the link bellow.

Hello,

You can install an FM GPS GSM antenna to replace all the antennas on the back of the unit.
