Hi,
If you want there is no backlight when ACC is on.
You can cut the ILL cable.
But this will cause the screen lightness will not down in night.
Besides,you are hard to find the power on button if there is no backlight in night.
What you said,it's normal and nothing wrong,the backlight works like that.

If your radio do not have other issues,we suggest you do not flash any firmware.
