Problem with car audio in E53 (BMW X5)

Hi,
I bought a Pumpkin stereo WINCE for my BMW X5 (E53) almost 1.5 year ago.
The first year the stereo worked properly, after the first year and when I was driving the monitor switched randomly to input video mode (like to have reverse gear and take signal from the rear camera, by the way I don't have rear camera connected) that's mean the monitor is freezing and i don't have any control like volume, change track etc but is still playing. When I'm braking and stop the car (0 Km) then immediately the monitor return in the normal mode and play without problem. Could you help me please with this problem?? because really I'm disappointed from this situation. Needless to say that there is no change in configuration or connectivity since I installed the stereo to my car

It is the canbus box problem.
You can contact the customer service where you bought the unit to buy an new canbus box.
Or you can modify the wire referring to the following picture.

I bought from eBay and I used your can bus. Can bus not covered from the warranty???

Hi Jammy,

Unfortunately your instructions were not so accurate and didn't resolve my problem but created another one! I went to my service center and I followed your instruction in diagram, the result were disaster, I lost steering wheel control, PDC(parking distance control) and 80 Euros(payment of the technician). As you understand I'm very dissatisfied from the whole treatment!!

Do you mean after you cut off the green wire(reverse wire),you lose your steering wheel control and PDC?
It is hard for me to understand what happen.Could you mind record a video to us about the problem now you are suffering?
