Memory issue with 13-RQ0278E-UK-A

Postby Mb83 » Mon Jun 05, 2017 7:16 pm

I purchased the above unit from yourselves not long ago and have encountered an issue or two.

The unit seems to forget certain memory items, mainly being stored radio stations.
It is wired correctly as other settings remain correct.
It is a rather annoying glitch to have to reset the saveed stations.
It does not happen all the time but consistantly. Can happen every day or every 3 days.
Will this be a Firmware update?

Along with this it has also actikned a full reboot on two occasions when none has been required.
Is this another glitch that could be sorted with Firmware?

Thanks

Hi,
For the radio station memory problem, you can try to switch off the AF funtion.
For the reboot occationnally problem, sorry ,there is not a firmware to solve it.Maybe it is caused by some burn-in element .Hope your kind understanding.

I did as requested and turned the AF off.
The next time i entered the car all stations were lost and the AF was reactivated.
This seems to have not solved the issue.

I have attempted again although i hold little hope this will solve the issue.

What would be the next step?

Thanks

Hi,
does your unit display the power down information when you unplug the key?
If no,that should be the yellow wire and the red wire of the ISO cable exchanged.
