The warranty will be still valid even after you modify the wire under our instruction.
Please don't worry about this.

I have ordered it by EBay (311639905895 ).

For the power cable with Can-bus decoder, did the unit turn off automatically when you pull out of your car?

Yes the unit turn off automatically, but the battery was still drained. MAy the CANBUS never gets idle.

And please tell us if your car have the steering wheel control.

No I have no steering wheel control.

You can use the power cable without Can-bus decoder, and modify the red wire to your car cigar lighter positive pole or other ACC wire of your car, then the unit will work, just your original steering wheel control may don't work.

Ok, but do I loose my warranty when I am separating the red cable and connect ir to another ACC?

best regards

Bernd

Could you please first tell us your order number?

Normally the draining battery issue is caused by the Can-bus decoder problem.
And please tell us if your car have the steering wheel control.

I have bought an "11-RQ0367" a few days ago and installed it in my car. There were two cable sets in the package. One with a CAN-BUS decoder and one without. With both of them I have problems. The one with the CAN-BUS works fine until it drains my battery. Then I tried the other cable set and the problem with that is, that the radio won't shut down, because there is no ignition signal on you plug (it seems that it does not fit to the Volkswagen QuadLock Plug). This also drains my cars battery.

So there is no way for me to use this radio in my car. Are there any suggestions?
Is there a solution for this?

best regards

Bernd
