Both reception quality are the same.

The reception is OK. I was using the wrong cable for antenna power.
I still would like to know what the second antenna connector is for? Can the radio deal with two antennas as the origianl VW radio is able to?
I will check the radio page settings tonight.

Is there a wire coming from the radio I can use for that purpose?

The existing anntennas are connected to the dual Fakra connectors on the lower left of the radio back.
There is no Antenna pin that I know of.
Still my question is what are the two connectors at the back of the ND0377B are for?
I assume these are the antenna connectors? They look like Fakra and similar to those of the original radio.
Does the ND0377B provide phantom power for the amplified antennas? On which pin?
There is no description at all....

The car came with the original `VW Delta radio that utilizes the two window antennas in the back of the car (Diversity system). The FM reception was/is really great.
The ND0377B has, as far as I understand it, a dual Fakra connector. When I connect the original antenna cable to these I cannot receive a FM signal. All other combinations (e.g just one antenna or alternate configurations) do not bring the radio to receive even the slightest glint of an FM radio signal.
What am I doing wrong?
Is there a manual that includes the antenna setup?
Any help is appreciated.
