This is the unit I purchased via eBay Germany: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Android-7-1-Oct ... 2749.l2649

In the meanwhile, I managed to solve my problems. First, I chose the "VW OBD(SS)(5.3.19, CONFIG, RDS, BC6, Rohm37XXX, TEF668X". Concerning the App-Problems, it seems that I just didn't see the "Car Settings" App, but now I found it. I also managed to reinstall or update all the Google Apps like Maps, Play Services and the Play Store. So everything is working again.

I just have one more question: Is it possible to remap the Panel-Button "AMS"? I don't really like the fact that this button starts the automatic radio program search and all my saved stations are gone afterwards. I would instead like to give it another function like opening a specific App, maybe the Radio App or even better the Spotify App.

Regards

You need to choose 'VW OBD(SS)(5.3.19, CONFIG, RDS, BC6, Rohm37XXX, TEF668X)' .Did you do that ?

I recently purchased a VW-specific headunit model CN10-03304B and installed it in my 2008 VW Golf V. So far, I have had no trouble or issues with the installation, everything worked just fine at first.

However, it seems that I've made a mistake when trying to change some settings like the boot logo and the model in the menu 'Model choose'. So I tried to 'roll back' and made a factory reset via the settings menu, because I didn't know, which model was the right one and I thought this might solve my problem. But after that, I recognized that some of the stock apps are gone now, like Google Maps and the Vehicle App.

So my questions are:

1. Is there any way to restore the headunit's state of delivery? I already downloaded the latest firmware I found via this forum but didn't try to flash it by now. But will this solve the problem? Will all the apps be back again after that?

2. Am I guessing right, that in the menu "Model choose" I need to choose 'VW OBD(SS)(5.3.19, CONFIG, RDS, BC6, Rohm37XXX, TEF668X)' or do I need to choose another one?

Thank's for your effort!
