Google Play Service is now working, can log in w/ Gmail and access the Play Store.
Really like the radio so far...
However, the 3G dongle that I purchased along w/ the radio is not connecting.
I have been messing w/ it since Saturday and I am having no luck. I am using the same SIM from my phone, and it is connecting at 3G WCDMA so I do not think it is related to my cell service. I have tried connecting it to the Radio to both USB plugs and have let it try to connect for half an hour each. There are no error messages or anything to report what's happening.
I installed an app to bring up the APN settings so I could make sure that it is using the correct ones for my cell service.
Occasionally I get an error message stating something like “Unfortunately the process.com.android.phone has stopped”
I connected the dongle to my laptop (running Win10) and installed the software as posted elsewhere on this site. The program never made a connection to any cell networks.
I am thinking the problem is w/ the Dongle. I am not sure how to do any additional testing.
