but the clock in 12hr mode shows a "0" in front of the 3 digit time, is there any way to change that

for example

instead of showing 1:23 PM
it shows 01:23 PM
(the number in red)

now when it is required, it looks fine such as
12:23 PM

I guess in Europe this is the way it is done (probably most of the world for that matter)
but can I change it to American style?
