Yes, if you connect the red wire to BAT+ wire, it will be stay on. But that will drain the car battery, as the radio do not have hardware switch to disconnect the power from battery. So we do not suggest you to do that, hope you can understand.

Sorry for replying you late due to different working time!
As I can see, you bought an universal 2 Din device. There are three main power wire from the ISO cable. One is big yellow one for BATT+ wire, it is require to permanent connect to 12V+ pole from the car battery without any disconnect. One is big Black one for GND- wire, it is require to permanent connect to 12V- pole from the car battery without any disconnect. Any of disconnect of these two cables will cause the item loose all the settings. And for turn on and off, you just need to make sure the red ACC+ cable disconnect and connect. So I assue the red and yellow wire from your original car connector is different with the new radio cable, so can you please swtich the RED and Yellow wire on the new radio ISO cable to check? Just as the following link photo shows. If you can't get the pin out, you can just cut the wire and swtich, this will not expire the warranty, please do not worry!

And for the button light, can you please check if you have connected the ILLUM wire to the RED ACC wire to get power supply? This is the button light power supply control wire, it require to be connected to the RED ACC wire to get power then turning radio on.
Regards!

I installed my stereo but I have a problem, when I turn off the car, the stereo shuts off inmediatly, and when I turn it on (only with car engine ON), the stereo lost all the settings.

Is there any cable or conection missing in order to keep the stereo memory alive?

Additional, the keys (navi, home, etc) are not illuminated. Which cable should I connect and to where?

thanks
