If you want to use another kind FM radio instead of the default one, there is not other FM Radio applications that work with this stereo.

Not over mobile data! Thats streaming content with an active internet connection!
Others call it internet radio, streaming radio or somehting else!
Like the BBC iPlayer Radio app!
Not everybody is cruising on the street with a gigabyte flatrate or something else!
So that was my question and i think steve's too!

Is there any other FM radio app that is working with pumpkin devices?

You can try to use other third party FM radio app, and the default FM radio app can be closed with pressing the Back touch button in it's menu.

Are there any other FM Radio applications that work with this stereo?

I am trying to use the Car dashdroid app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... rdashdroid) to replace the home screen but it does not work well with the default radio app because there is no way to turn the radio off.

The only way to turn the radio off is to do this from the standard home screen.

Alternatively is it possible that the developers could include the ability to switch the radio off within the app itself?

Thanks,

Steve
