Recently, we have found that some Ford car stereos( AA0497B, AA0496S) would consume all of the original car battery after installation. Therefore, we come up with the following method to solve this problem. The step is simple, just according below picture to cut the red line in the power cord and the problem will be solved. The red line is in the quad lock cable inside the CanBus power cable.

Notice: When cutting the red wire, cut it from the end near the plug. Do not cut from the end near the CanBus, otherwise, the CanBus may fail.
