how you get better color resoultion and radio to stay on

I have the 8 core... doing google maps the screen resolution not soo good.. and the color seems too bright even if I adjust it how you adjust contrast and how do you get to keep radio from shutting off if you goto other screens it shuts off well that's no good

already crashed the navigation maps it wasn't responding 5 min using it...

is there any updates for this and how you update it for any patchs..

Id like to cut off the trim does it come off? as its hard to press the space bar or top I dunno why screen isn't flush with the trim like a phone
