So, it's possible that the OBD2 adapter is not compatible with our unit.

I have a this headunit:

Android 5.1.1
1024x600

Kernel version
3.0.101+
root@chun #42

I've uploaded the followibg video to Youtube:
https://youtu.be/Aja1Yro404s

Pay attention to the waterfall. It's a HD video, the waterfall is very detailed on my computer, but on HU it's a white blur.
So the problem is poor gradients and some texts have noise as the picture sent before.

Sorry I don't have order number, got the HU as a birthday gift.
I'm only asking if you have seen this problem before and if you have idea what is causing (bad screen, bad chipset, bad software..)

Thank you.

Did all the images on the unit look poor gradients?
Would you mind take a short video, upload it to youtube, then send the link to us?
We will try to give you positive solution.

I have a MTCC-KLD6-V2.91 too.
Image quality is not good, it's like a very compressed JPEG, with noise around text, poor gradients.
Do you know what can cause this?

Here is an example taken when using Play Store:

The update installed OK and it did improve my boot time. But since the update my ODB2 adapter won't connect. It connected and worked fine before I installed the update you provided in the last post. So I know it's compatible with this head unit, but not this firmware.

The issue is that it doesn't ask me for a password when I connect to the ODB2 adapter.

Any ideas? Maybe I should go back to the original firmware? I'd rather a slower startup time than no ODB2...

Cheers,
David

https://mega.nz/#!MFcw0KZC!xlkrqN3E_v9G ... yYllst3oxc
Please download the firmware through the browser, copy the file into a micro SD card, then insert the SD card into GPS slot.
Enter the Settings-->about device to click the System update, then the unit will recognize the firmware file and update the system automatically.

And cause the android 5.1 lollipop is our new released operation system, there are still something need to be improved.
If you agree, we can send you an old and more stable firmware which may decrease the boot time, then you can try to install it.
