Hi,
About the gps slot not working, it maybe broken inside,sorry about this.
In fact, you can use the SD card slot as the gps slot, which has the same function, such as install the navigation maps file, playing music or video.

Hi,
About the light on the button not working, you can connect the orange Illumination wire to ACC or 12V power supply.
Or you just need to enter the factory settings(126)--others to select the Key light, click Apply and Exit, then the light on the button will be always on.

I finally got to install the camera, now the light on the button is not working
I thought it was my dimmer wire disconnected, but no, when I try to reset it the button light flash during factory reset
good unit when it work well

yeah it read when I insert it in after the unit is on, but if the micro sd is in before you turn it on it will not turn on the unit
I thought because of my format, so I change the format, both ntfs and fat32 I have try, its really annoying because if left it on before I turn it on, I have to disconnect it from the batter for a minute and then connect it again before it turn on. in another work I can't have anything in the gps slot until the unit is on.
the unit I brought on amazon come with the camera

Hi,
You can check from our product SKU or the amazon store listing, if it's the RQ0265E, then the unit don't include the miscro sd card with maps file.
And i don't quite understand about the microsd problem, does the unit recognize the micro SD card in gps slot?
Please check if the micro SD card is within 32GB and insert it into the other SD card slot to check.

don't know if this unit come with gps in microSD I didn't get one, order from amazon via pumpkin store
anyway anytime I put an microsd in gps slot the unit won't turn one i have to reset it
