Some months ago I bought a headunit from Amazon.de.
Few days ago, the hardware buttons - Home, Back, Navi, Power ( pressing the knob ) - stopped working. However the volume up and down ( knob rotate ) is still working.
I checked the Factory settings -> Steering wheel keys and there are no mapped buttons. I'm not sure the headunit hardware buttons should be visible there or only the Steering wheel buttons.
I tried "Reset keys" button and then remapping the buttons, but when I press any button ( headunit or steering wheel ) nothing pops up on the screen to configure.
Is there a firmware update that could resolve the issue, or a way to reset the MCU's stored configuration.
My current software versions are:
MCU : MTCE_KLD_V2.78_2 (16/01/2018 19:19:56)
Build: px5-userdebug 8.0.0 OPR5.170623.007 eng.hct.20180308.091100 test-keys
PS: For any other users having an issue with the Radio reception. I had forgot to connect the blue "Auto Antenna control" lead to the blue lead from my antenna harness. This was causing fewer stations to get detected and often tuned stations "disappeared" while driving. After connecting it, everything is working great, and I even detect more stations around me.Statistics: Posted by archmicrobe — Sat Aug 04, 2018 11:37 pm
