It's possible that the touch screen is broken, you can get a new touch screen to solve it.
Normally we can send it to you for free, but we need to order it from the factory, and the factory staff had taken the Chinese New Year's Day holiday. They will come back to work after two weeks.
If you hurry to get it to solve the touch screen problem, I suggest you buy a capacitive touch screen from your local or online store

You can press the RST hole and power button at the same time, keep them about 5 seconds, then release the RST hole, and loose the power button.
The unit will automatically enter the recovery mode after a few seconds.
When you go to the recovery mode, you can choose to update the system from SD card or USB which is determined by the location of the update file. Hope some help.

You just need to download it through your browser, copy the update.img file into the SD card or USB stick.
Insert the SD card or USB stick into the unit, go to the Settings--about device to click system updates, then it will automatically start the update.
