I'm using head unit CN03-03101B-01A-DE for 4 years now and it's great.
However, Germany recently switched off the 3G network, which is why I'm looking for a solution how to connect this head unit to 4G LTE network.

I tried the Huawei E3372 stick, but it does not seem to be recognized by the head unit. Probably, Android 5.1.1 has no drivers for it?
I found an app called PPP on Google Play, which claims to be able to use this stick for internet connection, however, it requires root.

Here are my questions:
* Is there a 4G LTE dongle that works with this head unit?
* Can this head unit be rooted, and yes, how?
* Do you know if root would help to make the PPP app work?
* Is there any other possibility to get this head unit into the 4G network?

@mantamanta: Do you have by chance already found a solution?
