For your first opinion, since there is a quite large power consumption of the unit ,so we don't add this function to the unit.Hope your kind understanding.
For your second opinion,can i think the hot boot as fast boot ? The unit itself support fast boot function.But first you need to choose the "auto sleep" option.

Pretty sad, really.
A lot of my fellow campers have asked if the Pumpkin unit is any good, and I have to tell them to buy something else, as there is no support from Pumpkin.
