Regarding your issue, it must be caused when you disconnected the sub.
Normally you need to check if there is short circuit.
Fortunately, my colleague said that you had used a new fuse, then the problem had been solved.

I'm using an external sub with built in amp. It worked perfectly until I temporarily removed it. I wasn't sure if maybe the unit detected that it wasn't connected and disabled the subwoofer output or something.

I made sure the amp was set to loud, but it seems like 99% of the output goes to the speakers and 1% to the sub.

I tried doing a factory reset but that hasn't helped.
