CAN Bus and AC / Env controls
Hi I would like to know if any of your units support CAN bus for changing environmental controls like AC and such. My car doesn't support this, but the Head Unit I purchased here has an app for doing this (disabled until the can bus service sees a valid canbus). So, how should the unit connect to th...

Re: A problem and Root request
If you know your way around a Linux command line, I can tell you how to go about rooting the unit. Email me uudruid74@gmail.com. Understand that messing things up will likely permanently brick the unit, so you take all responsibility. That said, people LOVE how my unit sounds with Viper4Android!

The link you posted says the file is too big for the browser, which is an outright lie to make us download the app so we can watch more ads.

Re: No rear sound
Are the rear speakers connected to a power amp and the fronts direct? If so, don't trust the AMP CON wire on the head unit. It doesn't work, or maybe its just intermittent. Instead, use the car's ACC ON wire to turn on your amp. The only downside is that your amp will be powered up any time you have...

Re: Restart after Standby (11-RQ0264-DE-A)
i told these idiots about this issue forever and they kept denying it. I told them exactly what did it and even posted logs. Now, they have an update, but the update kills my WiFi. Anyone else verify that the fix kills Wifi? I've been mixing old and new ROMs to try and find a solution that fixes bot...

Re: Display very dark when car light is on
All you have to do is cut the illumination wire between your car and the head unit. The unit will never know you turned on your lights. Personally, I installed a switch (in my ash tray) that does this. I normally want the display dimmed at night, but if its raining during the day, I just turn on my ...

Re: Stuck on Logo screen
In some of the units, hit the RESET button in the hole, wait for the first boot logo (before the user-selectable one in your picture), and press power button 3 times ... do this deliberately, about a full second each press. If you do it too fast it won't work. Doing it before the first boot logo or ...

Re: Marshmellow for C0362?
Currently I've got some issues with my Lollopop OS on the C0362. The most urgent one is the memory of this device. Even though 16GB are installed on this device only 1GB can be used for Apps and data. Due to the limited space it is imossible to store local google maps data. Is this issue fixed with...

Re: Cooperation required! Lollipop fixes available
The head unit thinks it's paired (shows the unit as connected in the BT menu), but none of the apps think it's available. Are you using Torque Light or Pro? The Pro has some additional configuration options. For me, I get two bluetooth addresses (for one adaptor, so yeah, it's kinda broken and the ...

Re: Downgrade to Android 4.4.4
Hi, i bout a new Pumpkin 8ich Car Stereo. i installed it and it works, but the Hardware is not strong enough to have a good UX with Android 5.1. Generally, ART (Lollipop) will run better than Dalvik (Android < 5.0) for a number of reasons. Lollipop originally got a bad rap because of 5.0 and the me...
