Re: External Microphone Not Working
On my unit 11-RQ1221E-US-A
I have replaced the external microphone with the following
PIONEER CPM1083 External Microphone with 3.5MM MONO PLUG TO 2.5MM Adapter
This works great for me, has resolved the poor quality on the receivers end.
The Microphone comes with a 4 metre lead.

Re: External Microphone Not Working
Yes roscored most successful solution seems to be to disconnect the internal microphone.
Which is fine if the external is actually working.
Looking at a different make of external microphone that is designed for car use and does have a 4 meter cable.
Up date later

Re: External Microphone Not Working
Have tried voice record or microphone test by tapping on each microphone, both microphones are working. I have extended the microphone lead to get the microphone near the rear vision mirror, reading forum notes this may be part of the problem. If this is considered to be the problem please advise co...

I purchased 1 x 11-RQ1221E-US-A on Order # 100005926 and 1 x OBD2 Bluetooth unit GS-Y0004 on Order # 100005973. Callers advise they can not hear me and that the connection is noisy. I placed a piece of electrical tape over the internal micro and this made it worst. It would appear that the external ...

Re: Double Boot at startup when OBD2 Bluetooth is connected.
Hi This is still not working. I have set the pairing code on the Car Kit to 1234. BT scan finds the OBD2 unit and when Pairing is pressed the OBD2 moves to Paired Devices. So this part seems to work ok. I have tried the OBD Car Doctor App Free, when this app is opened it pops up a message starting b...
