When it the unit powers off, it is completely dead. Cannot eject a cd, wont turn on etc.

Tried using a pin on the reset hole. No effect.

Only way to get the unit to power up is unplugging the bigger connector on the canbus adapter or unplugging the radio itself. If I unplug the adapter, I retain my radio settings. If I unplug the ISO connector on the radio I lose all my radio settings.

Finally got my radio back after getting it repaired. It will now boot up the first time I hook it up but if I shut the vehicle off and it powers down for more than a few minutes it won't turn on unless I disconnect the iso cable from the back of the unit.

Any ideas?

Before buying a unit from these people, check the return shipping costs back to China and be prepared to pay that yourself. My unit was DOA and my options at this point are shipping it back at minimum of $90 canadian taking 8 weeks or find some local shop to try and get it fixed here(Canada). A lot ...

Tried red and yellow together. Does not boot up.

I attached a picture of the two wires I connected together. I also attached the stock wiring harness with wire locations in case you the wires are not in the same place as you thought.

I connected the yellow and black direct to battery with no effect. Do I have to include the red as well to get it to work?

The unit came with 2 harnesses. The second one does not have a canbus adapter on it. When I try that I get the same thing. Nothing.

Is there a pinout on the plug so I know exactly which I connect to power?

I am in contact with your customer service by email though the delay is great. I was informed I had to cut the reverse wire on the harness to get the radio to power on and get passed the error screen. I guessed which wire was the reverse wire (orange anna black). After cutting I don't get the error ...

I have a similar issue with the KD-C1403. I hooked it up and only got an exclamation error on a black screen. I am getting power on the yellow and red wires.
