Re: No subwoofer output
Thanks for the reply. For both the test tones and music, I was using the default music player that comes with the radio. I loaded the test tones onto a USB stick and I loaded my MP3 music onto the "GPS" micro SD card. I have ordered a Cadence CXR-7 crossover and a second set of RCA cables ...

Re: No subwoofer output
As a possible solution, I'm considering a 3 way electronic crossover such as the Cadence CXR-7. It allows 4 inputs (Front L/R and Rear L/R) and 6 outputs (Front L/R, Rear L/R, and SW). It allows for various crossover points, so it should do the trick for the SW input my amp needs. I'd suggest if the...

Re: Using a USB External SSD drive on an Android RQ0911
What we've got here is failure to communicate. :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2f-MZ2HRHQ Tom's Hardware tested several USB SSD drives. The Samsung EVO 840 series does not have a significant change in the amount of operating power until you go beyond 500GB: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sa...

11-C0255-US-A largest SD card?
What is the largest SD card that can be used with the 11-C0255-US-A radio? It came with an 8 GB card, but cards up to 128 GB are affordable. Will these work if they contain both GPS and music/video files?

Re: POI files
I downloaded the 3GB map file and installed it after deleting the old files on the micro SD card. While the interface appears to have been updated, the POI files do not. I still do not see the restaurant I was looking for that is in the iGO 8 POI file (with the same 2015 Q2 date) in my other car. I ...

11-C0255-US-A steering wheel control wiring
I'll summarize this for anyone that needs help with this wiring: The KEY 1 and KEY 2 wires each output +5VDC. This is the reference or input signal the radio uses for the SWC. The black wire is the return or ground wire that outputs the reduced voltage when keys are pressed. It is independent of the...
