Just found one simply called music player that will play all without relying on androids media service. Slightly clunky compared to cartunes but works.
Also installed a media scanner app and after a scan cartunes works again.

Most pumpkin (and other band) units support two cameras. I don't think they will work as you describe. Antenna may be an mcx connector, but there are at least three different connectors for android dab+ boxes.

You can only use a splitter if the fm aerial isn't amplified, many are.

Resolved (I think, only made this change yesterday so not tested for long)

I used the standard app along with autostart no root.
Install autostart no root, set it up to open the DVR app, then open DVR and start it recording, it should then open and start recording everytime you turn the head unit on.

OK, I'll try some 3rd party apps to see if I can get any of them to automatically record.

How do you setup a dash cam to automatically record?

I've got a USB camera and I'm using the pre-installed DVR programme. If I open DVR and start recording it works, but it's a bit impractical to do that every time, I expected it to automatically record.

The 3G/US/Mic cable is as pictured. The mic is different to the pictured one, it has a different plug that does not fit the connector cable without an adaptor.

It looks like I've been sent the wrong mic. I'll contact customer services.

The supplied external mic doesn't work. The mic built into the unit does work. The supplied mic has a 3.5mm plug (similar to headphones), the radio has an RCA/phono plug. To fit it I had to by an adapter. I don't know of the cause of the problem is the mic, the adapter, or a software setting. Can yo...
