I have added the hema explorer app (for android) onto my android head unit, but in trying to download the map files I am unable to save them onto the external SD card and will only let me save them on the internal memory, which does not have enough space. you could wire in an external override switch to the reverse feed wire into the stereo. if you ran a 2 position on/on switch you could set it up so it will come on with reverse lights as per normal, or come on at the flick of a switch.
