Re: Update px5
I also have the PX5 AE0273B-08A Amazon Order# 111-7973852-7955432. The volume to the left side gets weak on start-up. I have to go to the equalizer and set the fader to "front" to fix it (I am only using the front 2 line-level channels to feed an amp). This happens very often. After settin...

AE0273B-08A CAN support?
I noticed in the factory settings menu there appears to be support for CAN. I even saw "Porsche" supported there and I have this installed in a Porsche. However, I see no documentation of where to connect the CAN and what we can use it for. Can you please provide documentation of what CAN ...

Re: AE0273B-08A Night Mode
It does not appear to be responding to the illumination input. That was already set as shown above. I also tried setting the illumination button to headlight input and they did nothing. They work fine when set to key ON. What does it normally do when, just adjust the brightness down a bit?

Re: AE0273B-08A contrast adjustment
I was hoping it was user adjustable. Its not that bad but the documentation claimed it was adjustable. It is not work taking it apart to change it. I will be OK with the way it is.

AE0273B-08A contrast adjustment
I have the AE0273B here: https://www.autopumpkin.com/pumpkin-android-8-0-universal-car-stereo-radio-double-din-7-inch-touchscreen-octa-core-with-gps-navi-bluetooth.html . It clearly says the display contrast is adjustable but I cannot find this adjustment. Can you please let me know how to adjust th...

Add accelerometer, gyroscope and compass
I have the AE0273B Android 8 universal head unit. I noticed this does not appear to have a compass or accelerometer. I would like to add support for these. I have seen some USB devices for this like this one: http://www.yoctopuce.com/EN/products/usb-position-sensors/yocto-3d . Has anyone done this? ...

AE0273B-08A Night Mode
Many apps have a night mode with changes the color scheme for night operation. Waze and Maps do this for instance. ON a phone it is done using ambient light I believe. In the Android stereo head unit I presume this would be done using the dash illumination input but that does not appear to work on m...

Re: default settings volumes?
Back to the original post, these items have settings in the "volume" area of the factory settings of the AE0273B:
TV
DVD
ipod
Sys
AV In
radio
BT
What do these adjustments do? I would like some documentation on these please. Each has a +/` button and a number. What does the number mean?

Re: Automatic sound level adjustment
I have the AE0273B-08A Android 8 universal unit. I just bought and installed it. Mine has a speed signal input so I presume it should support the speed/volume adjustment but it is not working. Is this unit supposed to support this?
