Any more news on this? The problem persists. I have to do a full boot every time to get WiFi working.

My order is 100003298. I updated the firmware yesterday. The problem remains. Exactly described by the OP. Sometimes it will reconnect, most of the time it wont. The status will say that WiFi is on but it wont connect to anything, or show any available APs. The only solution is to hold the power but...
