PUMPKIN CAR STEREO SUPPORT CENTER

Hi..I bought almost one year ago my Pumpking Quad core Android 5.1 car stereo. It was working fine but now I have a failure of my touch function. The touch function is not longer working the middle lower screen. The middle upper screen function is working normaly. I was reading oh the web and somes recomend to upgrade de MCU to fix this problem, but there are several different MCU file on the web to upgrade and I know if I try to upgrade with the wrong file I could damage my car stereo. Do you have some MCU file that I could use? Do you have the MCU file to upgrade from the 5.1 lollipop to the newest 6.0 marshmallow version?

Hi, thanks for send me the file.
I was trying but this file is not working. When the system reboot show a message that say: system updating, but later appearce a image of a android dead with a message that say firmware fail, update cancelled. then the system restar and goes to the main normal android screen. Do you have another MCU file which I could try?

Hi. Thanks for the link. I finally did the MCU upgrade, but the problem with my screen continues. The lower section of my screen do nor respond of touching, only the upper section of my screen is respond to the touch. I opened my car stereo and I swapped the two wirings wich connect the screen with the main board but the problem continues. so the problem is not wiring. If I connect a external usb mouse to my unit, I can navegate normally for all the menus. My car stereo is working normal, but I have that issue with the touch screen. I tryed disconnecting and connecting the screen power wire but the problem continues. I added a photo of my screen (see attachements) where I drawed a red line. from the line to up the car stereo respond to the touch but from the line to down do not response to the touch. The power and return bottoms responds to touch buth the volume up and down bottom do not responds to touch. The reset bottom is working normal. Let me know if you have some idea of the probable cause of this fail. I am now sure if changing just the screen would fix the problem, because I dont know if the problem is the screem it self. Could I reset the touch system? Maybe the problem is some touch file.
