Installation of new apps impossible from Google play store on Android 6.0 device

Hi,

There is a workaround for installing paid apps on this unit.

- Download your paid apps as APK files directly from the play store. For this you can use Raccoon http://www.onyxbits.de/raccoon
In Raccoon you have to provide credentials for your Google account, otherwise you can't download paid apps. Depending on your Google security settings you may have to create an application specific password.

- Copy the APK file to the radio, navigate with the preinstalled "ES file explorer" to the APK and choose "install". Apps installed that way only work if you also have registered your google account on your radio (so you should try installing free apps first).

As paid apps work when they are installed that way, I think there is only a bug in the installation routine for paid apps in the factory Android 6.0.1.

But take care: Apps installed in that way will not get connected to your google account and therefore will not get updates (but I'm not 100% sure about this). As soon as the bug in the unit is fixed the paid apps should be uninstalled and installed again via the play store.

And there is a way that needs our kind clients cooperation, thanks in advance.

Step 1:
Please download an app which is used to catching the operation data when you try to install a paid app from Google play store.

Step 2:
After you download it, you will find it's an app in Chinese, but please don't worry, you just need to click and open it.

Then please refer the below picture to turn on the two options.

Step 3:
Then go to the Google play store to download some of paid apps, after finishing this, find the ES file explorer.

Follow this path "mnt-->sdcard-->Nwdlog" to copy all the files like the attached picture shown

Step 4.
At last, please compress all the copied files into a zip/rar file, download it to the website, such as Mega. Then send the link to us.
We will download these files and send them to the program company, and there will developer specialist to analyse the data and try to use the patch with the firmware to solve it.

I have the same problem on my model 27-AQTU72-03 radio I just received. I cannot install any apps that I have paid for. Is there any progress on a solution? Torque was advertised as working.

I have ran the instructions above to create the logcat files. Mega.nz won't let me make an account, so I added the file as an attachment to this post.

Please note my head unit is the 27-AQTU72-01 model. (different from the one Klaus uses but same Android version and same problems)
