Power issue

Have a KD co224
wired into vehicle but cannot keep power when ignition is switched off so lose all settings
unit will only power on when ignition is on

Any help please

If you still have problem, could you please tell us what kind of your car? And please send us the original cable harness or the wiring diagram of your car.

We have tryed the method explained in the linked post,but still nothing seems to be working, the car is a 2006 Jdm Subaru Impreza.and the unit only seems to power in when you press the power button it doesn't come on when ou turn the ignition on

We have tryed the method in the post and that doesn't work it kind of worked once but no dose not, the unit has no memory and only switches on with the ignition and you have to push the power button to switch it on, the car it is going in to is a 2006 Subaru Impreza.

Hi, you may don't understand the other forum to solve your problem.
The universal unit can turn on when you connect the three main wire from the ISO cable, red ACC wire, yellow B+ wire, and black ground wire.
It's possible that the red ACC wire and yellow B+ wire have the reverse pin position to your original wire harness.
You can try to exchange the red ACC wire and yellow B+ wire to check.
