Rear camera reversed (top down)

Hello,

I just received a pumpkin radio + a pumpkin rear camera from you (and Amazon).

I think everything is OK regarding the cabling : I have the camera powered and the reverse detective wire is working fine.

My issue is the camera image is TOP / DOWN reversed.
I found the reverse setting on the Right / Left axis, but not the Top / Down axis ... which is what I need.

(and no, my camera is not physicaly installed in the wrong position)

Hi,
For the rear camera top/down reversed issue, it's possible that the rear camera installation position is wrong.
If it's the right and left reverse, you can go to the Settings--Driving settings to set the Reversing X-mirroring.
Then you will get the correct image.

Yes, I had found the reverse right/left option on the radio. But it was not helping for my top/down issue.

I have it fine now by turning the camera lens upside down.
I was a bit scared it could damage it at first, but it's OK.

I guess I will not be the only one to receive this camera with the lens mounted perfectly upside down, so this message may help other people.

Yes, if I turned the camera itself upside down the image was fine.
But the camera and its lights would be pointing the sky

I found the solution :
The camera lens was in fact assembled upside down and I figured out I could rotate it without breaking it.
So I did and everything is fine now !
(I already wrote it but the message has not been validated yet).

Hi,
The camera lens has its adjustment angle like the website picture shown.
So you can rotate it to the best position for your view.
