We've been trying for several weeks to get the reverse camera working on the Pumpkin S07. Have tried 2 different cameras, both work when connected to Video In and routed into the AVIN app. When the camera is connected to the cam in socket, the reverse-in switch triggers a black screen with a yellow exclamation mark. Tried with both v2.91 (came with stere) and v2.97 MCUs
Have checked the circuit repeatedly by following guides on the forum.
Have turned the reverse cam off and on in factory settings.
Have tried various options in the 'Driving Settings' menu (video while driving on/off, reverse x-mirror on off)
Have also tried running the cam from a separate power source, same problem.
Is the stereo just broken?

Hi,
Please first tell me your order number in amazon or buyer id in ebay,Pumpkin or AliExpress so that we can confirm more information about your unit and provide you positive solutions.
For your issue,it is the mainboard problem or the camera input wire is broken if you confirm that you connect the regarding wires correctly.
Regards

Re: Model S07 reverse camera black screen
what car do you have?
in my e90 (bmw) there wasn't enough power from the reverse light to power the camera properly. this might be your problem

Hi,
yes,the unstable power from the reverse light might also lead to this problem.
You can refer to this thread.
Hope your feedback.
