Will the 13-RQ0278E-UK get Android 6.x?

the unit RQ0278 can't update to android 6.0.Hope you know.

Not sure Why Pumpkin won't release the android 6 Marshmallow update for customers to download. The update is out there, I updated mine using links from the XDA Developers thread below

Everything working fine, better actually as fastboot had stopped working on my unit (common issue i believe), it's now working fine. The update adds a new user interface which is much nicer to use while driving and even finally has a working radio widget!
all my apps and data retained and working with no issues

The files I downloaded from the above XDA thread are below
Update.zip
(LM) dcmu.img

to Install -
Copy both to a Fat32 formatted USB stick or SD card
insert in the car stereo
hold down power button for 10 seconds until it flashes and the press power button again to enter recovery
Recovery menu will load and you can then choose and select the update, after update completes choose to install the MCU update.
Unit will reboot and start the "Android is upgrading/optimising apps2 screen, this will take a while to run and then your all finished.

So Jammy....why aren't pumpkin sharing this with customers?

Hello folks

I also tried this Android version on my RQ278E and it works in general, but i found some smal problems i would like to show, maybe someone else recognized the same and has some ideas to fix it.
system is now running since 14th september with android 6

positiv effects i notices:
1. Radio stations are now stored and not forgotten after starting the car in the morning
2. launcher looks realy clean.
3. system seems to react faster than before

not so possitiv effects
1. not all apps are displayed on the launcher screen and i have still some apps twice
2. there is no option in this "launcher3" version to see all installed apps on the device (using a different launcher shows the button "all Apps")
3. DVR is no longer functionable, when started the app crashes, no video from front camera (on Android 5 the only problem was that recorded videos are played mirrored)
4. Rocket Icon, still not working if device is not set to english as system language (but a usefull reboot option )

annoying effects
- Unit crashed 3 times up to now while playing music from usb stick. when the unit crashes you have an extrem loud buzzing sound from all speakers. Unit ist no longer responding to touch volume or anny other button. the only sollution is to force a reboot (pressing the power button for 10 seconds)

I think it could be that the media player app is buggy or there are sone commands in android 6 that cann not be handeld correctly by the MCU
