Memory Low - How to use the 16GB NAND Memory?

Hi there,

there is a lot talk about low memory - although the devices (e.g. C0256) are equipped with up to 16GB NAND Memory.
I already know that it is an Anroid issue that devices do not use the 16GB NAND memory to store Apps by default.
So I end up in a struggle to move apps to SD card manually app by app.

The 1 GB Memory that is used by default is simply not enough for eveyday use.

Can anybody give advice on how to make this work a little bit better?

Hi, about the 16GB Nand memory, normally when you install a app into the device, it will automatically use the 1GB machine inner memory, but you can move some apps from the 1GB Nand memory to the left of the 16GB memory, you can enter the Settings--APPs to try it. Not all of the apps can be moved. We are trying to release the new product with 2GB inner memory, hope you can understand.

Hi!

That is more or less the solution that I found all over the web.
As my device is only a few days old - an upcoming device wont really help me with the problem.

I am already using some apps like App2SD and Android Toolkit (with root superuser) to solve memory problems - but it is always only a solution for a short time period until memory gets low again.

Do you have a timeline for upcoming releases (10.1 inch devices)?

Problem solved by installing a modded ROM version from Malaysk.
The modded ROM finally uses the NAND memory as it should be right from the beginning.
