Static Noise

Hi,

I have the Android 8.0 8 inch headunit in a 2009 vw tiguan.

I am getting a static noise even when the radio is off.

It only starts once you get past the pumpkin boot screen and gets slightly worse when you swipe the screen or press a button.

Please can you advise on how to fix this?

Earth issue probably. If you have a spare earth coming out of your iso connector, drill a small hole to the cross brace behind your dash (usually there's a big tube spanning behind the dash).
