Hands Free Calls - AE0373B Android 8.0 PX5

Hi,

Is it possible to initiate request hands free calls from my head unit? I would like to use something like Google Assistant to say call Home.

I have seen a few threads on using MTC dailer and configuring Google to run MTC dialer which i believe in turns communicates with the headunit’s Bluetooth dialer but I’ve been unable to get it to work on my head unit.

I have followed all the instructions, configured google to use MTC Dialer but no luck.

What I noticed is the MTC dialer throws an error “MTCDialer has stopped” and does not appear to launch. Anyone else had this problem or had any other options for requesting hands free calls?

Pumpkin can you please advice. Other users with different or older roms don’t appear to be getting this issue.

Bei mir kommt wenn ich "ok Google" sage mit dem Namen des Gesprächspartner . Das selbe wie bei dir. Wenn ich es 10 x wiederhole.. Ungefähr , kommt ein graues Fenster wo drin steht "BT-interface wechseln, keine Bluetooth Verbindung. Dabei besteht die ganze Zeit eine Bluetooth Verbindung.

Selbst wenn ich es schaffe zum Dialer, wählt er nicht die Nummer in der Formatierung von Google. Beispiel : +49 172 3652855 Es müsste für den Dialer so aussehen +4917236522855. Die Nummer ist frei erfunden dient nur als Beispiel.

Auch bei mir Startet der MTC Dialer 1.2.2 nicht, er findet keine Bluetooth Hardware. Evtl. Liegt es an der MCU Version habe ich gedacht. Aber der Thread Ersteller hat ja MTCE. Ich habe ein CSN2 was es damit genau aufsich hat weiß noch keiner. Ist noch zu neu.

I have a AE0273B-01B and the same issues with MTC Dialer.

Is there a way to bring a shortcut of my favorite contacts from my bluetooth phone to the home screen. I tried it already with xShortcut app but this don´t work for me.

Is there an other app that works with the buildin bluetooth phone app (com.microntek.bluetooth) ?

Hi all, currently, the unit doesn't support voice control except for the google voice in the Google browser and Google map.
Also, it is impossible to bring a shortcut of my favorite contacts from the bluetooth phone to the home screen.
