Android Radio freezes during Runtime, Update failed

Hello,
i bought a Pumpkin Android Navi on Amazon, Order Number 306-0547251-5245963.
The technical Details are:
MTCC-KLD6-V2.97
Android 5.1.1
800x480
3.0.101+
rk3188

This Radio freezed during Runtime in different random Positions without the same action running.
After powering off an on again the radio could be used for time x until it happened again, but always different times.
So i read through the internet and found a possible solution, installing an older software.
I downloaded the older software in this forum and tried to update.
But the Update went wrong and my Radio wont boot again.
After Starting the radio it always goes directly in Recovery Mode with errors occure like "unable to mount /cache ...
If i try to load another update.img the same errors occure.

What ca i do?

Hi,
Sorry about this.
You may flash the wrong older software,,and normally we don't suggest our clients flash the unit by themselves, cause it may lead some problem, such as the not booting into normal main menu.
Here is the right firmware for your unit RQ0422. hope you can install it to solve the problem.

Hey Jammy,
the new update didn't work.
I tried to flash with the Recovery Mode on a normal SD card and a sd card formatted with the special sd card formatter from rockchip.
But even before the recovery mode ist starting, on the screen appear the first errors of not being able to mount /cache.
What about this cache, is it a hardware partition or a ram module?
How can we go on rescuing the radio?

Hi,
Please check if you download the update.img file, and copy it to the root inventory of the SD card with FAT32 format, and the SD card should be within 32GB. Hope you can try it again.
If it still does not help, it maybe the android board have problem, we can send you a new android board to solve it.
