Skoda octavia radio plugs don't fit

Postby dogarustfn » Tue Oct 25, 2016 10:23 pm

Hi,I just bought a pumpkin device from amazon and the AM/FM aerial FAKRA plugs don't fit into the aerial adapter that came with the stereo, the sockets are too close together and the plugs with the Pumpkin adapter are too big to fit them both in at the same time.
The camera it's working fine only when I have the key in the ignition, but when I start the engine the imagine it's freezing,I did't connect the trigger wire because in the plug power cable with canbus I don't have it where to connect .Thanks!

Hi,
My colleague just talked about the issue with me, actually you can only use one separate fakra plug of the radio antenna.
If you want to fit your double fakra plug, my colleague can arrange to send you another kind of radio antenna which fit your car.
Sorry for the inconvenience brought to you.
Regards

Hi,
If my colleague did not send you another radio antenna, please tell me, I can help you get the radio antenna you want.
About the rear camera issue, it's caused by the unstable power supply when you start the car engine, you can add a filter or modify the power to rear camera to other ACC wire, hope your understanding.

Hi,
There are two way to solve the camera issue.
If you want to get a relay to make the camera work as it suppose, we can send it to you from China. It need 2-3 weeks to arrive.
And you need to have some knowledge about the car wiring, or you may have trouble with it.
About the call issue, could you please tell us if you used the RCA port external microphone or just the internal mic hole?
The phone call from your side may be interfered by the surrounding noise and the position of the external mic.
You'd better put the external mic near to your face, such as the front of the steering wheel. Hope some help.

I used the external mic, I tried everything that you and your colleague told me, but it's not working the quality it's very very poor!
If you will send me the relay, farka radio plugs and another mic that will work properly in maximum one week I will keep the car stereo
I paid 240 pounds and I want something to install and work properly not to write in this forum every day and to search answers, please understated me. Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.
I have discussed your issue with my colleague, and she will arrange to send you the rely, fakra radio plugs and new mic.
We just want to try our best to provide you solution.
If these still don't help, you can also contact our amazon customer service to get a new replacement.
Please don't leave feedback on our store website, it really hurt on us.
And we are always trying to improve our product quality and customer service, hope your understanding.
Regards
