Radio changes stations and white noise.
Radio changes stations and white noise.
I bought the universal KD-C0224 just over a year ago. A few months before the 1 year mark I noticed that my channels would change all by itself. I would have a station on and for no reason it would just change to a different station. It would happen mostly on a cold start 5-10 minutes into driving. almost every day. Sometimes it would change stations 3-4 times. Sometimes only once then be fine the rest of the day. I also noticed recently that i have static or white noise on every station I set it to. AM FM.. local or distant stations. It doesn't matter. I listen to sports stations alot and just started listening to music more. I will be upgrading adding an amp and subs. I was just playing with volume and EQ when i noticed all the static. The EQ settings don't make any difference. Static still noticed. Antenna as far as I know is fine and secured properly. I have tried shutting down radio. Also a system reset. Issues still remain. I have it installed in a 2006 GMC Envoy with no steering wheel controls hooked up.
