Hi all,
short question to the powersave mode of the AQTU72:
Does the device require power to stay in the "sleep mode" (the 5 second reboot mode) ? Are there multiple sleep modes which the device (should) go into ?
The car battery is (without driving) drained in about 4 days. Battery is fresh / new, cabling (+12V, ground and ignition +12V) is correct. Is it possible that the battery is drained by the standby power of the Radio ?
Thanks
Ralf
AQTU72-02 Sleep Mode
Re: AQTU72-02 Sleep Mode
Hi,
This unit support to boot about 10 seconds since the first cold boot.
Could you please tell us which kind of your car? you can check if the red and yellow wire is right to your original cable.
The "sleep mode" (the 10 second reboot mode) is indeed related to the yellow wire which should be connected to the car battery positive pole and get 12V power supply. But when you pull out the key, there is just less than 10mA current.

Hi Jammy,
Thanks for the reply .. (didn´t expect an answer today due to the chinese tomb sweeping festival).
The car is a Mazda MX5.
I had to change the red and yellow wire - because without changing the device wouldn´t get any power when key is off (always cold reboot and all settings lost). After changing the cables this worked fine (10s reboot time, power off when key is off).
Thanks
Ralf
