Normally we don't suggest our clients do the flash work without our guidance, because wrong operations may damage the unit.
For the GPS problem,if you have tried the ways i told you before and make no difference,you can contact the customer service to get a new GPS antenna.

surely, thank you for the help. I will go back to the Image, which you have posted a few days ago. I see no Advantage in the marshmallow Image at the moment.

I already bought a new antenna, but this makes no difference.

I will give Feedback, when the Image is installed.

Hi Jammy,

So far I did not go back to Android 5.1.1 because with the Erisin marshmallow image, GPS is better and works:

also this image from Erisin, which is a similar unit with mtcd and intel sofia architecture is not perfect, have some issues there as well.

I flashed the firmware, but of course not the MCU.

What is ok now is GPS, night mode, unit keeps station settings after reset/reboot

What is worse is that sometimes after resume 3G will not come back, voice output from navigation is sometimes to silent, sometimes to Loud.



The image is from xda developer forum, they have a list with firmware and download resources for mtcd sofia units.

Perhaps someone else can check your latest image.
