Android 6.0 iPhone connectivity

iPod doesn't connect,my old s5 wouldn't connect and now new up iPhone 7 are there any,apps or mods I can do

Hey Jammy, that's not correct: I just connected the iPod at the AUX plug and there are no problems to play music! The USB plug is used for charging, so unlimited music from the iPod!

Hi,
The AUX is suit for any audio machine which has the same connector.So as same as the USB,charge is the fundamental function of the USB.But you can not read data through Ipod but USB stick.
