Same issue here, I thought it was broken to begin with 'til I found this thread.

Is this not something that can be fixed? Stock Android doesn't do this, so I feel this is something that your engineers have implemented, possibly to conserve resources? The system plays Spotify and Navigation just fine for the few minutes before Spotify gets killed, so the unit is capable of doing it.

Also quite annoyed that less than 2 months after I buy this one (1gb+16gb), there's now a 2gb+32gb version for about £10 more. Typical.

I'd also find it really useful to be able to easily reconfigure the task killer, just to have an exception list or to change the time that it allows apps to run for before killing them.

I haven't looked for it yet, but I bet this is held in a simple config file somewhere. Another option would be to disable the task killer app.
