Double Boot at startup when OBD2 Bluetooth is connected.

I purchased 1 x 11-RQ1221E-US-A on Order # 100005926 and 1 x OBD2 Bluetooth unit GS-Y0004 on Order # 100005973.
When the OBD2 Bluetooth unit is connected I get the double boot up problem mentioned on the support forum.
In Bluetooth the ODB2 unit connects without prompting for pairing, but is not actually connected.
Software is advising that there is no paired Bluetooth OBD2 unit.
Please provide the solution to resolve this issue.

Hi,
You just need to download the update.img file through your browser, then copy the file to the root inventory of the SD card, insert the SD card into the GPS slot. Then go to the Settings--about device to click system update, the unit will read the update file and popup a dialog which remind you clear up all the data, please choose it, after that, the unit will automatically finish the update process.
There is also another forum for your reference.

Ok update installed and has resolved the double Boot at start-up thank you.
Can we also discuss the OB2 Bluetooth on this Post.
When I check the car kit it shows a Pairing Code of 0000 I can pair from my phone to the car kit using 0000
I can also pair to the OBD2 Bluetooth from my phone but need to use Pair code 1234.
The Bluetooth scan on the car kit finds the OBD2 and connects without prompting for a pairing code.
Software for OBD2 shows an error that there is no OBD2 Bluetooth paired

Hi,
First glad to hear you solved the Bluetooth OBD2 twice booting issue.
About the Bluetooth pair function on the unit, since the different build in Bluetooth module between your phone and our unit, their performance also don't work exactly like. Hope your understanding.
You can set the Bluetooth pair password from 0000 to 1234, and reboot the unit to save this settings.
Then try to use the Bluetooth search the OBD2 and connect.
Regards

Hi
This is still not working.
I have set the pairing code on the Car Kit to 1234.
BT scan finds the OBD2 unit and when Pairing is pressed the OBD2 moves to Paired Devices.
So this part seems to work ok.
I have tried the OBD Car Doctor App Free, when this app is opened it pops up a message starting bluetooth, but never completes.
Also tried Torque Lite (OBD2 & Car) when the app is opened get error message that there is no OBD2 Bluetooth device paired.
I then delete the OBD2 from the Car Kit Bluetooth.
Using a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9600 I pair the S4 and the ODB2 device, promoted on the S4 for a Pair code enter 1234 this pairs ok.
Using OBD Car Doctor App Free on the S4 I can open and use the app.
So from this the OBD2 device, OBD Car Doctor App and the actual car OBD2 are working correctly.
I think there is a problem between the Car Kit and the OBD2 scanner, both products supplied by your company.
Cheers

Hi,
We tested both the car kit and OBD2 Bluetooth before sending them out.
Normally when the Bluetooth menu show the OBD2 paired, you can enter the Torque app and get the data from your car engine.
And please notice, you have to boot your car engine, then the torque app will detect your car engine data.
There is another forum about how to use the OBD2 adapter with our android unit, hope some help.
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=847Could you please enter the OBD2 Adapter settings to check and take a video to show it?
We will try to give you the positive solution.
Regards
